I am currently setting up a social enterprise to help young people communicate more effectively. It’s not simply about being able to present ideas and speak in public, but also about daily communications we all deal with, e.g. what do you when your sister has eaten all the biscuits and you get very angry and lash out, but then want to retrieve that situation? How do you reconfigure the relationship with your teacher who relates to you as a trouble maker because that is how you were when you first started school? The basic premise is that you can get anything you want by communicating effectively.
I have over 13 years experience in working with young people. I went to local comprehensive school in Hackney and then went onto to study Law at Oxford. I most recently help set up an award-winning organisation helping young people be successful.
I will be blogging about anything from setting up a business, situations that young people find themselves in and the many different aspects of communication. However, I’m human and I will also occasionally post the odd random article about London life, NYC and tennis (I’m a huge fan, especially of Novak Djokovic).
